Title
Upgrade to 3.5.20 may overwrite miva configuration files

Summary
Upgrade to 3.5.20 may overwrite miva configuration files

Prevention

Details
Solution:

WEBppliance 3.5.20-7 upgrade patch has a bug that will overwrite your miva configuration files and customizations you have applied to this file when upgrading from a prior version of WEBppliance 3.5.  We recommend that you wait for the next release which will fix this problem.  If you must upgrade before we release the next patch, then we recommend you backup your miva configuration files and restore them after upgrading.

Backup the following files:

/home/virtual/site<n>/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/mivavm.conf
/home/virtual/site<n>/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/miva-authfile

where <n> is the site number of the site.  For example of site10

cp /home/virtual/site10/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/mivavm.conf  /some/backup/dir/for/site10/
cp /home/virtual/site10/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/miva-authfile  /some/backup/dir/for/site10/

You can continue to use 3.5.20-7 to deploy new installations. Ensim will release an updated version of 3.5.20 that will correct this problem.
