It is not possible to proceed with some resource upgrade/downgrade - wizard fails to proceed with order placement showing the error message:
designProratedDowngradeOrdDet: resource lines have different amount value within period
There are two cases that can provoke such an error:
- A subscription with a billing model "Before Subscription Period" has a resource rate whose Recurring had been changed recently. This behaviour is confirmed as a software-related issue PBA-81582.
- The "Align Billing Order with Statement Day" option was recently changed for a subscription having the "Charge Before Billing Period" billing model. Such cases are caused by PBA-83366.
