The Azure CSP 4.1 upgrade procedure is performed as per:

The azure/deployment/ script fails with errors like:

2017-05-22 09:52:23.403 [INFO] Import started. It will take few minutes.
2017-05-22 09:52:23.693 [ERROR] Failed to execute SQL (exit code 1):

In the PostgreSQL logs on the destination node errors like the following may be observed:

< 2017-05-22 21:05:46.990 CEST > ERROR: invalid input syntax for type numeric: "55,05741066247210"

Or the following:

< 2017-05-24 20:25:33.631 CEST > ERROR: date/time field value out of range: "14-6-2016 00:00:00 +00:00"

The CSV file generated during the Export data step was formatted using the Windows date and numbers formatting, which made data exported SQL-incompatible.

This issue could be faced on OS'es with non-English locale.

Edit Windows setting in Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region > Change date, time, or number formats.

Time and date settings on the Formats tab should be edited as:

  • Short date - yyyy-MM-dd
  • Long time - HH:mm:ss

For the number settings in Additional Settings > Numbers and Additional Settings > Currency the decimal symbol should be set as dot sign - ".".

Once it's done - regenerate CSV file as per Export data part of the instruction and continue with the import.
