Information

When you register a node in Cloud Infrastructure, the node configuration is read and saved to a special database. Cloud Infrastructure then uses this information to check whether a node has enough resources to host new servers. The configuration information includes the following:

- CPU power
- amount of RAM installed on the node
- bandwidth rate available to the node
- amount of disk space on the node

Resolution

You can configure the parameters that can be seen by Cloud Infrastructure as available on a node by doing the following:

1. Go to Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Virtualization Nodes.
2. Click the name of the node whose configuration you want to change.
3. Click the Cloud tab.
4. Click the Mark as not ready to provide button to lock the node, if it is not locked yet.
5. In the Virtual Parameters section, click the Configure link.
6. Enter the desired parameters in the fields and click the Save Changes button.
7. Click the Mark as ready to provide link to unlock the node.
