Symptoms

  1. On attempt to Plesk from Plesk Automation Customer Control Panel CCP > VPS > Manage Plesk > Open Plesk following error appears:

    Internal Server Error: Unable to retrieve the session ID from Plesk response.
    
    Actual result that you got : Internal Server Error: Unable to retrieve the session ID from Plesk response.

Cause

Plesk on VPS has manually downgraded to unsupported version. Plesk in VPS supports 11.5 and 12.0 versions only.

Resolution

Upgrade Plesk to supported version or use direct link for access to Plesk https://203.0.113.2:8443, where is 203.0.113.2 - public IP address of VPS.
