Resolution

  1. Go to the management node and make sure that the correct user is specified in psa database for the website:

    # plesk db

    mysql> select login,home from sys_users where home like '%example.com%';
    +---------+-----------------------------------------------------+
    | login   | home                                                |
    +---------+-----------------------------------------------------+
    | user    | /var/www/vhosts/example.com                         |
    | user2   | /var/www/vhosts/example.com/subdomains/example1.com |
    +---------+-----------------------------------------------------+
    2 rows in set (0.00 sec)

  2. Go to the affected Apache node and replace the wrong user with the proper one:

    # sed 's/sub1111_11/user/g' /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/vhosts/example.com.conf > /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/vhosts/example.com.conf

  3. Go to the management node and run:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-server -service-node 192.168.0.5

where 192.168.0.5 is IP address of the Apache service node.
