Question

For TLDs of all domains registered via the InterNetX plug-in the same contact for Billing Contact Information and Technical Contact Information was used. For .de TLD Status and Handle fields are visible in those sections, but they are invisible for other TLDs under Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Domains > select domain > select 'Contacts info' tab.

Answer

As a rule, registrar regulations for domain contacts depend on the domain TLD, so that requirements for one TLD can be unsuitable for another.

  1. One contact can be used with more than one TLD.
  2. When contact is created for one TLD (for example .de), contact handle value is written only for this TLD.
  3. If this contact is used for another TLD (for example .com), contact handle is not displayed because it is not defined for that TLD.
  4. Thus, contacts should be copied for each TLD. To copy a contact, please go Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Plug-ins > Plug-in name > select target TLD > click 'Create copy' button.
