Symptoms

There is an Office 365 APS 2 failed task containing the link to this KB article.

Resolution

To process the failed task, perform the following actions:

  1. Obtain the identifier of the affected subscription from Task Manager (see the Subscription ID column).

  2. Call pem.enableSubscription for the subscription. For example:

    <methodCall>
        <methodName>pem.enableSubscription</methodName>
        <params>
            <param>
                <value>
                    <struct>
                        <member>
                            <name>subscription_id</name>
                            <value><int>1000000</int></value>
                        </member>
                    </struct>
                </value>
            </param>
        </params>
    </methodCall>

  3. Restart the task.

  4. Call pem.disableSubscription for the subscription. For example:

    <methodCall>
        <methodName>pem.disableSubscription</methodName>
        <params>
            <param>
                <value>
                    <struct>
                        <member>
                            <name>subscription_id</name>
                            <value><int>1000000</int></value>
                        </member>
                    </struct>
                </value>
            </param>
        </params>
    </methodCall>
