POA-84790 Session could expire before timeout in case UI is deployed on top of NG web cluster

Symptoms

In case UI node is deployed at NG cluster, POA sessions can be dropped faster than setup in POA ("System > Users > Sessions > Session Timeouts")


Cause

NG cluster session timeout is not reflected in 'persistent' setting of load balancer
 

Resolution

Manually set  'persistent' setting on NG cluster load balancer accordingly current POA session timeout.

 

POA-87811 Logrotate on NG gives segmentation fault

Symptoms

logrotate crashed on NG webserver with CloudLinux v.5.x nodes with segmentation fault if configuration file /etc/logrotate.d/pem bigger then 3.1Mb (commonly this config reached this size when number of webspaces >=62K)
# logrotate -vd /etc/logrotate.d/pem
Segmentation fault


Cause

too old glibc package version
 

Resolution

update glibc version to latest (for CloudLinux 5 problem fixed in glibc-2.5-118.el5_10.3 and later) and then reboot node
yum update glibc
