Parallels Identity Manager or PIM is the key component that implements Single Sign-On technology in Parallels Automation. It is designed for user authentication and identity management.
Parallels Automation may be connected to external Identity Providers by means of APS 2 Client Adapters, which provide built-in support of industrial protocols OpenID Connect, SAML and LDAP.
- OIDC client adapter provides user authentication using popular social networks, such as Facebook, Google, and other systems that use the Open ID Connect protocol.-
- LDAP client adapter provides user authentication using MS Active Directory over LDAP protocol.
- SAML client adapter provides user authentication using custom systems over SAML 2.0 protocol.
- M-PIN client adapter provides 2-factor authentication for Parallels Automation.
