Symptoms

When you try to create a new account you get the following error message:

    psoft.hsphere.resource.admin.phservers.SSHCommandNonZeroExitCodeException: ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/libexec/openssh/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
    Permission denied, please try again.
    ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/libexec/openssh/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
    Permission denied, please try again.
    ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/libexec/openssh/ssh-askpass): No such file or directory
    Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-with-mic,password).
     Command: ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no -x -a root@10.10.10.10 /hsphere/shared/scripts/dns-zone-add --zone=domain.tld --origin=ns.domain.tld --email=webmaster.domain.tld --master=ns.domain.tld --slave=ns2.domain.tld --slaveip=10.10.10.10 --refresh=10800 --retry=3600 --expire=604800 --minimum=86400

Cause

Wrong ssh configuration.

Resolution

  1. Comment the following string in the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file

    #RSAAuthentication yes
    #PubkeyAuthentication yes
    #AuthorizedKeysFile     .ssh/authorized_keys
    
  2. restart sshd service

    [root@cp ~]# service sshd restart
    Stopping sshd:                                             [  OK  ]
    Starting sshd:                                             [  OK  ]
