Question

You configured PBA-E to automatically destroy canceled subscriptions after some period (Destroying Service After Hold Period).

Is it possible to apply this setting to old subscriptions that are already in Terminated/Stopped status?

Answer

The Destroy Service after Hold Period setting is checked when subscription is being terminated - to either destroy it right away or leave service in Stopped state. So for old subscriptions, that already passed termination date this setting is not applied anymore.

Such subscriptions can be destroyed manually:

  • using Destroy button on subscription general screen
  • or by triggering Subscription passed Terminate Date event with SubscrID=XXX as Parameters, where XXX is ID of subscription that should be destroyed

There is also a feature request to implement an API method to destroy subscriptions - PBA-45739.
