Symptoms

  • Attempt to destroy a subscription with IIS hosting and a site application (WordPress, Joomla, Drupalfails, etc) fails:

    Destroying service of Subscription #<sub_id> failed: Parallels Operations Automation error #extype_id #173, module_id #IIS, Not all operations for site '<d1001234-346.site.domain.com>(domain_service<ID>)' are finished. Please wait until all related tasks are finished and try again.
    
  • There is a failed event in PBA:

There are no unprocessed tasks in POA for the mentioned domain_service<ID>.

Cause

Subscription fails to be destroyed due to a bug with id #POA-82063.

Resolution

To avoid an issue in future, update POA to 5.5.3 or above.

To destroy the subscription before update installation - enable it (e.g. with pem.enableSubscription), remove site application from the susbcription, click "Destroy" button in PBA/resubmit failed event.
