Symptoms

Cannot remove client/subscription with MySQL resource, "Remove the IP address 192.168.0.5" task fails with error:

    Last execution output Connection problem: Unable to load object of type Client with id=2508: Client: unable to select: no such row in the table

Cause

MySQL server is added to PA with backnet IP and all the subscriptions are provisioned to this IP. But according to IP logic backnet IP is marked as exclusive IP. So PleskIntegration controller tries to unregister DB node's backnet IP.

Resolution

  1. It is needed to change backnet IP address type from exclusive to shared. Due to the reason that it will be needed to perform manual database updates, login to the Management node and create backups:

    Backup psa database:

    # mysqldump -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa > psa.mysql.backup.`date +%F`

    Backup plesk database:

    # cat /var/lib/pgsql/9.0/data/pg_hba.conf | grep plesk | awk {'print $4'}
    192.168.0.1
    # pg_dump -U plesk -h 192.168.0.1 plesk > plesk.psql.`date +%F`

  2. Login to the service node where IP address from error is located and find backnet IP address:

    # netstat -ntpl | grep 8352
    tcp        0      0 192.168.0.5:8352             0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN      800/pleskd

  3. Login back to the Management node, login to the database and update settings:

    NOTE:

    • host_id = 3 - service node ID under Infrustructure > Service Nodes
    • ip_address='192.168.000.005' - service node IP address, all octests should have 3 digits.

      # psql -U plesk -h 192.168.0.1 plesk
      plesk=> begin;
      BEGIN
      plesk=> update configured_ips set ip_type='S' where ip_address='192.168.000.005' and host_id = 3;
      UPDATE 1
      plesk=> select ip_address,ip_type from configured_ips where host_id = 3;
         ip_address    | ip_type
      -----------------+---------
       010.000.000.060 | S
       192.168.000.005 | S
      (2 rows)
      plesk=> commit;

  4. Task "Remove the IP address 192.168.0.5" must be canceled, because it shouldn't be posted at all if MySQL node has correctly configured IPs. Further subscriptions removing will work without issues.
