Office 365 task fails in POA with the following error message:
Method del_customer calling failed. Reason:The user name or password is incorrect. Verify your user name, and then type your password again.
Credentials of Administrator for connecting to Microsoft Online are incorrect in the corresponding POA Office 365 resource type.
Ensure that the correct credentials of Administrator are configured in the POA Office 365 resource type:
Log into the POA Provider Control Panel.
Go to Service Director > Application Manager > Applications > Microsoft Office 365 > Resource Types.
Click on the Resource Type that belongs to the Application Resource Class.
Switch to the Activation Parameters > Global Settings tab.
Check the following parameters:
- Administrator's login for connecting to Microsoft Online
- Administrator's password for connecting to Microsoft Online
If these parameters are specified, Parallels Automation retrieves actual information about Office 365 users and domains from the Microsoft cloud when the Office 365 subscriptions are disabled, enabled, or removed. If these parameters are not specified, PA uses locally stored information about Office 365 users and domains when the Office 365 subscriptions are disabled, enabled, or removed. It is recommended to specify these parameters if your customers use the Microsoft Online Services Portal to create domains and users in the Microsoft cloud. These parameters are the same as the syndication-admin and syndication-password parameters of the Office 365 synchronization script.
Make sure that the parameters are either empty or contain correct admin credentials.
Restart the failed task in the POA Task Manager.
