Is it possible to setup remote logging for PBA-S logs? In other words, to have log files (for example /var/log/hspc/xml_api.log) being constantly managed on a remote server.

This is possible to configure log files path for different location than '/var/log/' using the following steps:

  1. mount corresponding Samba share or NFS to some mount point on local NFS;
  2. reconfigure PBA-S logger (/etc/hspc/logger.conf):

     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/hspc/hspc.log"/>
     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/taskman.log"/>
     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/hspc/upgrade.log"/>
     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/hspc/xml_api.log"/>
     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/hspc/vzcoll.log"/>
     <param name="filename" value="/var/log/hspc/vzcoll_transport.log"/>
  3. Restart PBA-S services to apply the changes:

    ~# /etc/init.d/hspcd restart

NOTE: no guarantee can be given for such configuration including log rotation lack, start-up and run-time failures and so on.
