Symptoms

E-mail messages are continued to be filtered by SpamAssasin, when SpamAssasin is disabled in POA

Cause

There is misconfiguration in POA DB, possibly caused by canceled tasks.

Records about corresponding mailname were removed from *sa_mailboxes *table, however mailbox filtering rules were not removed from DB:

plesk=> select * from cqmail_filters where mailname_id in (36396,36397);
 filter_id | mailname_id |               cmd                | alters_message | priority
-----------+-------------+----------------------------------+----------------+----------
     53539 |       36397 | spamc_wrapper_195 x/tb/36397 f m |              1 |        1
     53541 |       36396 | spamc_wrapper_195 w/tb/36396 f m |              1 |        1
     47312 |       36396 | spamc_wrapper_195 w/tb/36396 f d |              0 |        3
     47313 |       36397 | spamc_wrapper_195 x/tb/36397 f d |              0 |        3
(4 rows)

plesk=> select * from sa_mailboxes where mailbox_id in (36397, 36396);
(0 rows)

~# cat /usr/local/qmail/shared/mailnames/db/db/-36396/36396/.qmail
|spamc_wrapper_195 w/tb/36396 f d
|maildir

As a result, qmail file is being re-configured by POA each time mailbox settings are modified:

~# cat /usr/local/qmail/shared/mailnames/db/db/-36396/36396/.qmail
|spamc_wrapper_195 w/tb/36396 f d
|maildir

The mailbox ID can be acquired from CP.

Resolution

Manually remove not needed filtering rules from database:

plesk=> begin; delete from cqmail_filters where filter_id in (47312,47313);
DELETE 2
plesk=> commit;
COMMIT

After that, re-enable SpamAssassin for mailbox to re-configure .qmail file on qmail server side.
