The issue affects OpenSRS, Nominet and ESNIC registration plug-ins.
OBAS generated an order for renewing a Domain Registration subscription for 1 year:
Order on the %DOMAIN.NAME% subscription renewal from 26-Nov-2013 up to 26-Nov-2014
But according to
whois data, the domain was renewed for 2 years.
MySQL deadlock error is shown in DEBUG OBAS log:
[2013/11/26 02:04:22] [FATAL] [HSPC::Exc::Mysql::new] DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/HSPC/WebDB.pm line 238, <GEN651> line 12.
The issue will be fixed in one of the future OBAS updates, its ID:
PBAS-22540 - Deadlock caused by concurrent orders provisioning
Please contact Odin Technical Support for assistance if you are using OpenSRS or Nominet.
If you are using ESNIC, please download the hotfix for OBAS 4.5.5 64-bit and install it by running
# rpm -Uvh hspc-plugin-dm-esnic-4.5.5-37.swsoft.x86_64.rpm # hspc-upgrade-manager --finish
hspc-upgrade-manager --finish will cause OBAS downtime for several minutes.
