Symptoms

I have Plesk Domain subscription BASEDOMAIN.TLD with enabled DNS management. I've created subdomain SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD through

CP > Websites & Domains > Add New Subdomain

But subdomain's DNS zone does not appear in Domain Manager. Why?

Resolution

It is by design that DNS records of subdomain are added to DNS zone of the base domain:

Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Domains > BASEDOMAIN.TLD > DNS zone
--->8---
    ftp.SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD. 600 CNAME       SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD.
    mail.SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD.    600 A       10.39.81.183
    webmail.SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD. 600 A       10.39.81.183
    SUB.BASEDOMAIN.TLD. 600 A       10.39.81.183
