Question

What are the minimum privileges required for the user to be able to manage the customers domains from the Provider's Control Panel (see domains information, manage name servers, etc)?

Answer

The role assigned to the user shall include the following privileges:

  1. For Domain Manager menu to be visible:

    PROVISIONING_GENERAL or ORDERS_PROCESS

    Choose ORDERS_PROCESS if you want the user to be able to place domain renewal/cancellation orders.

  2. For the user to be able to see the domain details:

    PRODUCT_MANAG_CONFIGURE or CONFIG_GLOBAL_SETTINGS

    and MANAGE_OWN_SUBSCRS_C

  3. For the user to be able to change domain NSes:

    PROVISIONING_GENERAL or ORDERS_PROCESS+MANAGE_OWN_DOMAINS_C
