Symptoms

Sales order for domain registration with RU-CENTER fails, in the RUCENTER.log and subscription service status history along with the request there is an error:

RESPONSE:
State: 401 Authorization failed

Cause

The customer affected has earlier registered domain(s) through PBA-E with RU-CENTER, a contract ID was created for a customer and recorded to PBA-E database. The customer made some changes on RU-CENTER side (or its contract has been canceled, was expired and terminated), so the contract id recorded in PBA-E database is not valid anymore. The requests with this contract id are considered to be invalid and fail with the "401 Authorization failed" error.

Resolution

The request to check the validity of recorded contract id before sending domain registration request to the registrar exists, its id is PBA-49648, it is to be implemented in the next product versions. For a workaround please contact Parallels Technical Support.
