Symptoms

There is no 'Import Existing Folders' button in POA Customer Control Panel that allows a customer to import Exchange public folders created in Outlook or OWA, not directly in POA CP:

Cause

The 'Import Existing Folders' button allows to import Exchange public folders created directly in Outlook/OWA to POA database.

If Service Template a customer's subscription is based on do not allow creating public folders outside of POA, the button 'Import Existing Folders' will not be shown in POA Customer Control Panel.

Resolution

To allow creation of public folders in Outlook/OWA you have to enable the 'Allow creation of subfolders under Public Folder via OWA and Outlook' activation parameter in POA service template.

1. Log into POA Provider Control Panel.

2. Open the Service Template the customer's subscription in question is based on.

3. Open the 'Parameters' tab.

4. Click 'Edit'.

5. Set the 'Allow' value for the 'Allow creation of subfolders under Public Folder via OWA and Outlook' parameter:

6. Click 'Submit'.

Note: the change will affect all customers with subscriptions based on the modified Service Template.
