The typical APS application life cycle is as follows:

  • Provider imports APS package to POA
  • Provider creates Resource Types in POA (depending on planned application selling model - Site Application or SaaS Application)
  • Provider creates Service Template for application hosting in POA
  • Provider creates Service Plan in PBA
  • Customer subscribes to Service Plan, POA provisions instance of application
  • Customer changes application settings in CCP – POA reconfigures application
  • Provider imports new version of application
  • Customer or Provider upgrades application to a new version
  • Customer cancels subscription or uninstalls application – POA un-provisions application instance
