The hspcd service stops right after the start. It could run for 2 minutes and then it is interrupted unexpectedly.
/var/log/hspc/hspc.log file you can find errors similiar to the following ones:
[Mon Dec 24 20:45:06 2012] [error] child process 1887 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL [Mon Dec 24 20:45:06 2012] [error] child process 3118 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL
[Mon Dec 24 20:45:07 2012] [error] could not make child process 1697 exit, attempting to continue anyway [Mon Dec 24 20:45:07 2012] [error] could not make child process 1699 exit, attempting to continue anyway
The hspcd service stops due to the lack of disk resources.
By design when diskspace or inodes reach 80% limit, there is a red warning
"The number of used inodes or free disk space at one of the partitions has exceeded 80%. See the details" on the top in Provider CC. Upon reaching 95% the hspcd service stops to prevent data loss.
Check file system disk space usage:
# df -h
And list inode information:
# df -i
