Monitor failed tasks

Log into PBA Provider Control Panel, go to Configuration Director > Event Manager > Event Log and filter events by Status = Failed.

Depending on the problem severity all failed tasks are also shown on two screens in PBA Provider Control Panel:
  • Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Minor Faults
  • Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Critical Failures

Click on the failed event in the Event Log to see its properties, then click on the Tasks tab and click on the failed task ID.

Look in the Comments field for the reason of task failure, analyze it and perform needed actions to resolve the problem.

Once the issue that caused the task to fail has been resolved perform the necessary actions depending on task type:
  • If the task is related to order processing then resubmit corresponding order for provisioning instead of re-running failed task. Order processing related tasks belong of the following event types: Invoke Order Flow, Order Placed, CC processing request, etc.
  • If the task is not related to order provisioning then resubmit task. Tasks with the event type: Create service, Stop service, etc
