Cause

Most probably the reason of problem is inconsistency in OWKO attributes of corresponding object in Active Directory.

See the article How to get OWKO of Active Directory object for more details about OWKO and ways to obtain them.

The reason of problem may be a broken OWKO which links to non-existent or wrong object in AD. Another possible reason is that AD object has more than one OWKO with the same ID as in the example below:

Things to try

  1. Try to resubmit the task several times

  2. Find failing MPS/WPE request and try to run it manually.

    • Use MPF Trace Viewer or WPE Request Tracer Tool to catch failing request
    • Use the ProvTest.exe or WPETest.exe to send failing request manually
  3. Get all OWKOs of the problem mailbox using instructions in the article How to get OWKO of Active Directory object and analyze them for correctness. At least check if objects in values of OWKOs exist in AD.
