Symptoms

When trying to send invoice notification to some clients I receive the following error in Firefox:

Top > Billing Director > Receivable > Documents > <Invoice NUM> > Notifications > Send Notification

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.



In Internet Explorer the page just hungs, nothing is shown. The following URL appears again and again in the frontend access log file /var/log/httpd/hspc_frontend_access_log:

Cause

Notification is not sent because the "Invoice has been created" event does not have the "Document notification" action.

Resolution

Enable the action "Invoice notification for customer" in event "Invoice has been created" in PCC at Top > Configuration Director > Event Manager > Events > Invoice has been created > Actions > Invoice notification for customer > Edit.
