Symptoms

POA background task related to Blackberry services provisioning fails with the below error:Provisioning request failed. Unknown error 0x80131500 [<response><errorContext description="BESUserAdmin Error. The operation has timed out. Error code: -1." code="0x80131500" executeSeqNo="1"><errorSource namespace="BESProvider" procedure="removeUser"/></errorContext></response>]

Resolution

1. Make sure BES 5.0.3 MR2 or greater update is installed on the BES node.
2. Consider increasing the session timeout in the Blackberry Administration Service per the article How to change the session timeout period within the BlackBerry Administration Service.
