Virtual machine does not receive IP address configured in PVA

When using the virtual machine creation wizard in the Parallels Virtual Automation Control Center, I have configured an IP address. However after provisioning, the virtual machine does not have any IP address.

Most likely, the virtual machine template used for the virtual machine creation does not have Parallels Tools installed. It is necessary to install or update Parallels Tools to match Parallels Server Bare Metal version to be able to configure IP address from PVA interface.
