The correct way to restart Apache service on POA-managed host depends on type of host:
  • Linux Shared Hosting server
  • Linux Shared Hosting NG (New Generation) server

On usual Linux Shared Hosting server use the script /etc/init.d/pemhttpd to restart Apache:
# /etc/init.d/pemhttpd restart
or
# /etc/init.d/pemhttpd stop; /etc/init.d/pemhttpd start

On Linux Shared Hosting NG server use the script /etc/init.d/httpd to restart Apache:
# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
or
# /etc/init.d/httpd stop; /etc/init.d/pemhttpd start
