You have started a virtual Windows XP_64bit machine and ran it for some time. Then you have shut it down/rebooted using Virtual machine ->Stop/Reboot option in Parallels Workstation menu or pressing the correspondent button on the virtual machine GUI.
The machine turned off normally, but by the next
Windows XP start Host machine  becomes very sluggish or displays Machine Check Exception error or goes to reboot.
No other virtual machine can be started as well.

The problem is caused by old Video BIOS (BIOS of a graphics card) in a Host computer.

To get this problem resolved you need to obtain the latest VBIOS update. You will need to contact your graphics card manufacturer for the latest custom BIOS for your graphics card.
